MediaInfo is a free toolf that give technical information and tag information of a video or a audio files. You can retrieve many kind of information from MediaInfo such as general information(title, author, director, album, track number, date, duration, etc), video info (codec, aspect, fps, bitrate,etc) , Audio (codec, sample rate, channels, language, bitrate,etc), text (language of a subtitle file), chapters (count of chapters, list of chapters). MediaInfo support many kind files formats such as MKV, OGM, AVI, DivX, WMV, QuickTime, Real, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DVD (VOB), OGG, MP3, WAV, RA, AC3, DTS, AAC, M4A, AU, AIFF and many more.
